The Auditorium at the NBS Theatre is the perfect place for any large event you may have planned. Whether its a full theatrical production, a concert, a school reunion, an awards ceremony, or even a corporate dinner, we've got you covered at the NBS Theatre Auditorium.

The Auditorium seats around 380 in its normal configuration, but if thats not enough, we can add two extra rows in the front to make it seat 405.  Still not enough? Why not use the gallery to the side of the auditorium, which seats 49 and takes the maximum seating up to 454.

Planning a banquet? Why not have it at the NBS Theatre? You can seat your guests on the stage, and if you need some more room we can remove the first three tiers of the seating to increase the flat floor area to accommodate a band perhaps, or just a dance floor, or both!

The Auditorium has a 3 meter wide cross over to the back of the stage, which can be used to serve a buffet type dinner.  The Auditorium also has a Green Room, two Dressing Rooms, backstage toilets and a shower, and even a kitchen.

We also house the Buller Community Baby Grand Piano here at the NBS Theatre.  This can be used within the Auditorium, and bookings for this need to be made via Rev Rona Halsall, 03 789 7546.
